The Three Stripes giant isn't afraid to experiment when it comes to new footwear models. We've already seen remarkable designs they developed with famous American rapper Kanye West, which remains a relevant style in the sneaker sphere even to this date. With that said, the sportswear label's latest project is helmed by the creator of world-renowned streetwear staple A Bathing Ape, and also the founder of Japanese fashion imprint Human Made, Tomoaki Nagao who goes by the name Nigo. The power duo has unveiled the all-new Human Made x adidas Slipon Pure model, and it's truly unlike anything we've seen before!
While all other shoe brands out there are heavily engaged with what the masses want, such as reviving archived silos and retro colourways, adidas and Nigo have opted for Kung Fu-styled slip-on trainers.
In terms of construction, there's nothing much that can be said apart from they're a pair of slip-ons, meaning that you can slip these on and off with no inconvenience. Launching in three colourways: "Core Black", "Wild Pine", and "Cream White", the slippers are neatly crafted with super-lightweight mesh textiles across the uppers then injected with a full-length Boost midsole underfoot for optimal comfort. The adidas Slipon Pure HMs are rounded off with Human Made's signature heart motif tonally embroidered across the front and an adidas Trefoil logo embellished on the heels.
All three variants of the Human Made x adidas Slipon Pure HM is set to launch on May 25th via select adidas retailers globally. Let us know if you're planning on mastering Kung-Fu fighting styles in these, as we have no doubts that even Mr Miyagi will be wanting a pair. Keep it locked in here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest adidas releases and in other news, the adidas NMD R1 OG is now available from adidas UK!
