Closer Look At The Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 97

To celebrate Air Max Day 2017, Nike enlisted the help of 12 "RevolutionAirs"; to design a hybrid sneak which the retailer would then put into production for 2018.

After a week of voting, LA creative Sean Wotherspoon was crowned the winner with his Nike Air Max 97 x Air Max 1 mash up.

Inspired by vintage Nike hats from the '80s, Wotherspoon equipped his sneak with a corduroy upper, along with multicoloured wave detailing on the sidewall, frayed edges and a velour lining.

Further detailing includes the Air Max 1 midsole underfoot, coupled with a multicolour outsole, and custom graphic on the inner sole and tongue tab.
