It's been an absolutely crazy day for the Nike Dunk Low. Shortly after revealing the Ben & Jerry’s x Nike SB Dunk Low, we're now taking a look at a colourway that is obviously inspired by the Grateful Dead Bears - a series of stylised dancing bears that were drawn by Bob Thomas for the rock band's "History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One" album in 1973.
Dipped in a neon green hue, the upper is decked out in a variety of premium materials including buttery smooth suede and fuzzy fleece that graces the ankles, midfoot panel, and toe box. While the single photo isn't the best of quality, if you look closer you can see a zip on the nylon tongue that you can use to store your secret stash.
This certainly isn't revolutionary when it comes to sneaker design, having previously been done on several Travis Scott x Nike models in the past, but it's still an exciting feature to have.
Elsewhere, a jagged blue Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, clearly influenced by the aforementioned bears, and this is complemented by a rubber outsole underfoot, finalising the eye-catching design.
Pretty much nothing else is known about this Nike SB Dunk Low, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know if you'd cop, and in related news, the Nike SB Dunk Low "Elephant" could be dropping later this year!
