Whenever an anime collaboration hits the newsroom at The Sole Supplier, we get excited. From the recent Yu-Gi-Oh! x Nike Air Max 95 and clothing capsule to 2018's Dragon Ball Z x adidas collection, the sneaker scene loves an anime cultural clash.
After rumours of a Tn collaboration swirled late last year, Nike has now officially confirmed the long-awaited partnership with One Piece. Following an initial Poneglyph installation in the streets of Tokyo, the brand has officially unveiled a complete footwear and apparel capsule dedicated to the world-renowned manga.
Unlike previous One Piece sneaker projects which focused only on specific characters, this capsule delivers three themed Nike Air Max Plus colourways inspired directly by the legendary Devil Fruits: the Ope Ope no Mi, the Mera Mera no Mi, and the Gomu Gomu no Mi. Each pair features a completely retooled upper exclusive to this collaboration, spotlighting some of the most iconic powers in the series. Keep reading to find out where to buy.
Next in the lineup is the Nike Air Max Plus 'Ope Ope no Mi' (Trafalgar D. Law), which brings deep burgundy accents and distinct swirl detailing across the retooled upper, mirroring the surface of Law's fruit.
The final sneaker in the pack is the Nike Air Max Plus 'Gomu Gomu no Mi' (Monkey D. Luffy). Arriving in a purple and yellow colourway referencing Luffy's signature look, the build echoes the bounce and flexibility of the protagonist's stretching abilities.
Alongside the footwear, Nike has developed a full apparel range. The capsule includes archive-inspired Air Max Plus football jerseys and matching caps, graphic T-shirts featuring genuine manga panels, vintage-style Nike advertisements, and Luffy’s hand-drawn Jolly Roger. Completing the clothing selection is a bespoke utility vest inspired by the lore of Devil Fruit users being unable to swim.
The global rollout begins with an exclusive Tokyo popup from 4–6 September, before landing at select global stockists including London's Offspring on 19th September. The full worldwide launch follows on 25th September 2026 via the Nike SNKRS app.
