Fashion month is well and truly underway, and while sneaker news is generally a little quiet around this time of year, the circuit always provides us with some chance of spotting upcoming heat. Over in Milan, our first look at an upcoming New Balance collaboration came courtesy of Salehe Bembury himself, who debuted this colourful 1906R on foot.
After previewing a fiery gradient 1906R colourway back in June, it’s clear that Bembury has been cooking up a storm. This time, mesh the base takes on a solid colour, coming saturated in a bright brick hue, while blue overlays dial up the contrast. Continuing on the multicoloured vibe, purple mesh peeks through on the tongues, and the same violet tone takes over the outsoles. Finally, deep burgundy drenches the midsole units and TPU heel caging, providing the perfect finish.
As it stands (and much like the gradient pair) there’s no info surrounding the "Orange/Blue" Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1906R just yet, but be sure to keep it locked to The Sole Supplier for more updates as they come in.
Up next, here's an official look at New Balance's upcoming Stone Island collab.
