Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1906R Magma

New Balance and Salehe Bembury reunite for a two-pack collaboration titled “Heat Be Hot” featuring the NB 1906R. Like past projects with the Boston-based sportswear powerhouse, the theme revolves around another wonder of nature, this time shifting towards volcanoes, further bringing the heat. The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1906R "Magma" emits a head-turning ensemble composed of contrasting warm and cool colours.

Vibrant orange kicks off the mesh upper of this retro running shoe, complemented by blue synthetic overlays. “N” branding on both sides sport a reddish-orange hue, outlined with a deep burgundy pigment. The purple mesh tongue serves as the backdrop for the yellow co-branded label atop a light blue leather base. Additional co-branding appears on the cork sockliners. Burgundy accents engulf the heel counter and ABZORB midsole, which feature a pre-worn aesthetic. The purple rubber outsole maintains the consistency of warm tints from top to bottom. Both colourways drop exclusively on the Be A Spunge website in limited numbers.
