Instagram is currently inundated with photos of girlies clad in bikinis, lolling across a tropical beach somewhere, or knee deep in mud in a carefully assembled bohemian-chic festival fit.

But a lot of us are spending summer in the city, which, mercifully, feels kind of like a holiday this year thanks to the soaring temperatures (another heatwave is slated for next week) and everyone's resulting good moods.
