Unless you've been living under a rock for the pasty thirty-four years, you'd know the story behind the iconic Air Jordan 1 High 'Bred'. Making its court debut back in 1985, the iconic colourway was nicknamed 'Banned' as it was banned by the NBA for violating the league's uniform policy. This meant that every time Michael Jordan wore the shoe on the court, he was fined $5,000 per game!
While this may have just been a clever marketing stunt, it didn't stop the shoe from gaining its place among the greats, and it looks like it's making a legendary comeback later this year!
While we've seen the 'Bred' return in various forms, this re-release will focus on all the original details, including the higher ankle, the OG leather materials, and of course, the accurate dimensions. Rumoured to be a true one-to-one re-creation, this is the revival Jumpman fans have been waiting for.
At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the Air Jordan 1 High 'Bred', but it's apparently releasing on November 29th (Black Friday). Let us know if you'll be adding a pair to your sneaker collection, and while you're here, take a look at the full Nike sneaker range!
