The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 550 "Conversations Among Us" Collaboration Is Coming Soon

Last month, we saw Chicago-based footwear designer Joe Freshgoods take up the creative director title at New Balance for its upcoming "Conversations Among Us" campaign that focuses on celebrating Black heritage. The team-up will feature a few fan-favourite sneakers, including the New Balance 550.

Arriving in the form of the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 550 "Conversations Among Us", the base sees a canvas set-up, giving the model a durable construction throughout. As for the colour arrangement, the panels are in cream, beige, and yellowish hues.

Other notable elements include the fuzzy suede heel and ankle slabs, the profile "N" logos on the side outlined by a contrasting black hue, and the "Conversations Among Us" branding text on the insoles. Standard NB-branded tongues and rear tabs, "550" wordmark and full-length cushioned midsole underfoot complete this New Balance 550.
