The Moncler x adidas Collection Included a Puffy NMD S1 Boot

Moncler’s Genius platform has certainly elevated the collaboration scene in the years since its inception, but for 2023 the brand has taken things a step further. Off the back of its huge celebratory Art of Genius event, the brand previewed many a collection, including a stand-out selection of adidas offerings, from outerwear to footwear.

As part of the “Art of Exploration” collection, the Italian fashion brand tapped the 3-Stripes for its input on a selection of winter essentials. Although Moncler’s design language is prevalent in the styles, you can still see the German giant’s influence at its core, and this is especially clear when you look down at the footwear. Sitting subtly below the scene-stealing jackets was a puffy NMD S1 boot, which comes equipped with a down-filled quilted upper and an elevated, traction-heavy sole unit, as well as toggled lace fastenings for a more secure fit.

Though no release date is planned just yet, the boot is expected to land alongside the rest of the collection towards the tail end of 2023 - ready for the winter ski season.
