There's no more denying that Boston footwear powerhouse New Balance is unstoppable when it comes to releases, dominating the entire streetwear scene with high-heat pairs not only through collabs but also GR renditions. As for their latest offering, the New Balance 990v3 "Made 990" is a continuation of the brand's recently-launched "MADE Version Series" that references the silhouette's early days, starting from the NB990.
The 990v3 has established a cult following in the industry with the help of Joe Freshgoods, Ronnie Fieg, and Levi's Strauss, so it's no surprise that it was already in line for a "Version Series" treatment.
The model's typical suede and mesh accents from heel to toe indulge in a familiar greyscale hue for a classic look, while predominant branding details forefoot in a contrasting red colour, including the "Version 3" tag stitched on the collars. Finalising the dad-approved sneakers are the heel clips, additional New Balance motifs around the rear region, and an ENCAP-cushioned midsole unit underfoot.
We have no doubts that die-hard fans of New Balance have got their eyes dead set on copping the New Balance 990v3 "Version Series", so make sure you check back with us for the latest New Balance release dates. In similar news, the New Balance 1400 "Steel Blue" receives a Made in US makeover.
