Ever since Bruce Kilgore's design was introduced to the footwear industry in 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 garnered a significant level of hype from basketball players and sneaker addicts alike making it a legendary silhouette as we know it now. It has been blessed with numerous iterations and has even hosted some of the most iconic collaborations to date, particularly the Off White x Nike series as well as the Travis Scott x Nike collabs. As for the Beaverton brand's latest rendition, the Nike Air Force 1 "UV" pack hold features that will have sneakerheads eager to cop a pair on drop day, so read on as we reveal to you the iciest and hottest Air Force 1 colourways you'll ever see.
As can be seen from the official images, these famous Nike trainers keep all the details that made them so famous, notably speaking of the perforations across the toe box, profile Swoosh logos across the sidewalls and the chunky Air-infused midsole underfoot in true AF-1 fashion that we all know and love. However, it looks like there's more than meets the eye after a closer look at the detailed imagery.
In addition to the icy blue rubber outsoles lined beneath the feet, which bears the same shade as the Air Jordan 1 "UNC", both houses tumbled leather panels that possess UV technology causing the base and overlays to change colours when exposed to heat or sunlight. The Nike Air Force 1 Low UV "University Blue" is kept cool with pristine white coating the structure and only the midfoot Swooshes switching to a darker tinge of blue and Nike Air branded heel changing from white to magenta.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low UV "Pink Yellow" is somewhat wilder. The front and rear panels start with faint pastel hues of green and pink which switches to golden yellow and purple, then following the same blue and magenta that were also on the initial pair. Additional Nike imprints grace the tongue and insoles alike of both Air Force 1s, rounded off with blue translucent lace dubraes, Swoosh rubber hangtags that are most likely also heat-sensitive.
Expect the Nike Air Force 1 Low "UV" pack to come in a silver cooler bag in place of a standard Nike shoebox, mimicking an ice pack for you to keep them cooled down after you've flexed these low-key fire shoes to your mates during those hot summer days. Keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for more high-heat Nike releases, and if you want to turn up the heat even more, then the Nike Air Force 1 Low Craft "Mantra Orange" is everything you need!
