Foxtrot Uniform, a label that gained the respect of countless sneakerheads across the globe for bringing vintage vibes to the footwear silhouettes we all know and love today, notably retro basketball kicks such as the Air Jordan 1 and Nike Dunk. For their latest add-on, the US-based sneaker customiser connects with lifestyle artist Thinking Different to rework Apple's employee sneakers from the 1990s.
A closer look at these TDFU x Foxtrot x Nike Dunk High perfectly portrays why this collaboration between the two is a masterpiece. Redesigning the now-famous Nike Dunk silhouette with vintage flairs and archived Apple Mac logo is a piece of art only Foxtrot and Thinking different could pull off.
For the joint project, it appears that the Nike Dunk High "Pure Platinum" is serving as the blank canvas. A premium all-white leather base with grey Swooshes receives pale yellow accents for an aged look, while Apple's archived rainbow scheme appears on the lace tips imprinted with the tech company's slogan "Think Different". The vintage aesthetic is further elevated by way of a yellowed midsole unit and the rainbow Apple logo on the tongue and collar logo windows.
