LA-based sneaker retailer UNDEFEATED and Vans have a long history that dates all the way back to 2007, when the duo launched a special Sk8-Hi capsule that featured artwork by celebrated graphic designer Geoff McFetridge. Now it’s this collaboration in particular that has inspired the two parties latest team effort, that instead opts to work on the just-as-legendary Old Skool silhouette.
Showcasing the now-iconic “U-Man” design that eventually became UNDEFEATED’s signature motif during the early years, the OG Old Skool LX’s are set to launch in a trio of new colourways that consists of green, yellow and blue.
Each of the pairs are crafted from premium materials throughout to point to the exclusive nature of this partnership, with the uppers consisting of durable canvas and supple suede. The panelling stays true to the original silhouette, with the centre panels depicting the U-Man graphics, while Vans’ signature jazz stripe runs straight through the middle. Dual branding is also located at the tongues along with “UNDFTD” lace dubraes on each sneaker.
If you’re liking the look of this collaboration and fancy getting your hands on a pair, the good news is that all three colourways are set to drop via UNDEFEATED’s stores and website along with select retailers on the 4th December. Make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest news and updates regarding this pair and so many more, along with breaking news stories like your first look at this new Nike SB Dunk!
