Dad shoe fans rejoice: the Yeezy Boost 700 “Wave Runner” is set to make its comeback.
As adidas continues to shift its remaining Yeezy stock, it appears that the 3-Stripes might have had a few extra units of everyone’s favourite Yeezy Boost 700 colourway to get rid of, as the brand teased that the style would be landing on the adidas CONFIRMED app later this week.
Easily one of the most popular Yeezy models going, the Steven Smith-designed “Wave Runner” dropped back in August 2017, and pioneered a whole new era for chunky shoes. At the time, slim styles like the Yeezy 350 Boost were all the rage, and the Yeezy 700 was originally met with a mixed response. However, on drop day it was quick to sell out, and ended up paving the way for many more dad shoe-style sneakers, as well as multiple evolutions of the shoe itself.
Now, pairs are expected to land at adidas CONFIRMED and potentially other retailers over the coming days. If you’re looking to pick up a pair (and remember, this could be your last chance!) then be sure to hit the release reminder button below to stay up to date with all the drop info, and check out our handy size guide for all the fit info.
Up next, here's which other Yeezys are dropping this month.
