Vibrant Patterns and Bold Colours Headline the Aries x Vault by Vans Collection

If you’re still clinging onto summer and the last chance to rock your vibrant sneakers and out-there clothing then you’re going to absolutely love this brand-new collaborative effort from Aries and Vault by Vans! The duo first joined forces back in 2017 for a limited-edition capsule and now they’re back once again with an impressive roster of sneakers and apparel that celebrates self-expression and Americana spirit.

Inspired by a “customize your own Vans” poster that was discovered by Aries founder Sofia Prantera while she worked at Slam City Skates, the extensive collection offers up plenty of footwear variations including two colourways of the Authentic, a duo of Sk8-Mid’s and finally variants of both the Chukka and Era. Each silhouette displays a slightly mismatched look that’s designed to catch the eye, continuing the message of individuality that’s referenced throughout the collection.

When asked about the inspiration behind the design’s Sofia Prantera stated “We wanted the collaboration to follow this accidental recipe; some colours don’t quite match like they have been made of found pieces of material; graphics and logos are incoherent; random apocalyptic stories appear on the soles; while the phrase “go your own way” and “Art Trip” reinforce the message of individuality and rule breaking that is shared by both brands.”

Alongside the footwear offerings, a whole range of apparel including hoodies, T-shirts, shorts and accessories is set to release on the 21st August.
