New Balance is at the forefront of sneaker culture right now, and there's no denying that. From track to streets, the Boston footwear label has been offering sneakerheads premium trainers for quite some time now, notably their iconic 99x series that has become a go-to for collaborators. And speaking of collaborators, it appears that Montreal-based imprint JJJJound has cooked up a highly covetable ensemble once again. Following the much-coveted JJJJound New Balance 992s from 2020, read on as we take a closer look at the JJJJound x New Balance 990v4 "Navy"!
Teased directly via the brand's Instagram, JJJJound will be taking on the fourth instalment of the NB990 that debuted all the way back in 1982, the 990v4. If you're wondering what the difference is between this edition and its formers, there's really not that much significant changes, apart from the larger profile N logos.

Retaining New Balance's focus on top-grade materials, this JJJJound New Balance 990v4 is finely constructed with supple suede overlays and super breathable mesh accents underneath. Deep navy and stark black tones runs through the panels from heel to toe, even coating the ENCAP sole tooling underneath. Rounding it all off are co-branding details on the insoles, and possibly more elsewhere.
If you're looking to add this to your rotation, then keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier as the JJJJound x New Balance 990v4 "Navy" undeniably holds grail-status for die-hard New Balance collectors.
