Song for the Mute x adidas Adistar Cushion Shamrock Green

Australian fashion label Song for the Mute officially launches the “SFTM-004” collection, its fourth collaborative project with adidas. The capsule showcases three iterations of the retro-inspired Adistar Cushion, each pair donning rich layers and high-quality materials to produce a distinctive design. The Song for the Mute x adidas Adistar Cushion “Shamrock Green” presents a captivating makeover that resonates with autumn.

This Y2K runner sports muted green textiles on the lateral side with grey open mesh fabrics on the vamp and medial portions. Cow suede toe caps reinforce the front area, whilst recycled PU overlays cradle the sidewalls. The mismatched 3-Stripes utilise soft satin fabrics for added depth, offset by vintage-inspired brand tags stitched on the tongue and lateral quarter panel. Reflective dots on the heel pay homage to the Syndey-based brand’s trademark logo. Varying shades of green dominate the chunky adiPRENE midsole, propped up by a rugged rubber outsole for all-day comfort. Like previous collaborations, the trainer arrives in a brown co-branded shoe box with extra black laces to complete the upcycled aesthetic.
