UK-based sneaker retailer Offspring launches more collaborative silhouettes with adidas following its triumphant campaign in the inaugural Consortium Cup. The Offspring x adidas Centennial 85 Low “Crafted” celebrates British craftsmanship, decked out in a muted yet luxe reinterpretation of the retro basketball shoe.
Aside from getting bragging rights after winning against 15 other renowned stores, the long-time 3-Stripes partner earned the opportunity to release all winning designs, which kicked off with the paisley-clad Samba in late ‘23 alongside select qualifiers. This Centennial 85 Lo iteration from the tournament’s quarterfinals features a faint pink leather underlay decorated with perforations throughout the forefoot to resemble premium vachetta leather. Crisp white 3-Stripes form both sides, marked with a gilded “London” on the medial panel. Muted suede overlays wrap most of the upper, adorned with mismatched co-branded logos embossed on the foxing and printed on the sockliners. Exposed foam on the edges flaunts a yellowish hue, giving the shoe a pop of colour.
The glossy heel tab boasts the London Thames River, further honouring the store’s hometown. A semi-translucent rubber sole arrives in an equally muted milky tone. The shoe includes a Consortium Cup hang tag, packaging, and an extra set of laces.
