Singapore’s leaning sneaker boutique, Limited Edt, has partnered with adidas to commemorate Singapore’s national independence by dressing up the adidas Forum 84. Introducing the batik-inspired Limited Edt x adidas Forum 84 Low Singapore Forum.

Batik, a wax-resistant dyeing technique applied to whole cloth that originated in Java, represents Singapore’s cultural history and is considered a national garb. Batik is the highlight of this shoe. It’s found on the sock liners, the ankle strap windows and can be seen through the translucent rubber outsole. The upper is dressed in bright white smooth leather and creamy premium suede. The Three Stripes on both quarters of the shoe are navy like the blue leather tongue tabs featuring adidas Trefoil branding on the right shoe and LE branding on the left. A yellowed out midsole gives this shoe a vintage feel while the adidas Trefoil logo in gold foil on the lateral collar provides a luxurious finishing touch to these kicks.
