The quintessential adidas Gazelle has had many faces since its debut in the ‘60s as a running trainer. While the most common version of the shoe is the 1991 update, the Brand with the 3-Stripes re-releases the franchise’s lesser-known variant - the adidas Gazelle 85. This “Olive Strata” rendition sets up an autumn-ready colour palette, outfitted in a full-suede construction for a prim and dapper look.

The adidas Gazelle 85 refines several design elements while maintaining the classic low-profile construction and signature profile 3-Stripes. Solely focused on streetwear flair, this version has an olive green smooth suede upper. Meanwhile, leather 3-Stripes and heel tabs bolster the lightweight build of this icon. An off-white rubber sole appears taller than the original and 1991 variations, giving it a near-chunky proportion. Gold Gazelle branding embellishes the lateral panel, while the large Trefoil insignia sits on the tongue and rear. Hexagonal traction patterns on the outsole wrap up this ‘80s revamp of the classic Gazelle.
