adidas Marathon TR Indigo White

German sportswear giant reissues the classic Marathon TR once again to bolster its Gorpcore offerings. This Marathon TR “Indigo White” rendition arrives with a Cordura mesh construction, enhancing the lightweight upper to equip you with a versatile trainer that can withstand the rigours of daily wear and tear.

The adidas Marathon TR debuted in 1979, designed by the founder Adi Dassler himself. This silhouette was one of Dassler’s final sneaker designs before he passed away in ‘78, making the Marathon TR a significant part of adidas running heritage. This rendition flaunts an indigo blue Cordura mesh base, with suede overlays donning the same hue. Leather white serrated 3-Stripes adorn the sides, while classic adidas Trefoil branding embellishes the tongue, heel tab, and sockliner. The slim rubber sole has a netting on the midfoot section to stabilise the low-profile trainer. Thick lug-inspired treads on the outsole cap off the updated design of this classic trail running shoe.
