Contemporary fashion label AVAVAV officially reveals its latest adidas collaboration during “The Hole” runway show. Debuting as part of the AW25 capsule, this stealthy AVAVAV x adidas Moonrubber Megaride “Black” presents a wild design overhaul on the retro-futuristic runner, bridging the gap between sports performance and experimental fashion influences.
This hybrid Moonrubber Megaride colourway flaunts a blacked-out upper crafted in lightweight mesh fabrics with padded layers on the eyestay and collar. Embracing the Florence-founded, Stockholm-based brand’s peculiar language, the glossy rubber sole boasts an exaggerated structure with rounded edges and upward-curving toes for an attention-grabbing style. The bubble-like logo on the tongue, reminiscent of the archival Microbounce, displays AVAVAV and Trefoil symbols to complement the co-branded insoles.
