Whilst the conventional shape and construct of the NMD R1 is utilised, an all-new textured upper features. Whilst it doesn’t boast the universal hype of Primeknit, this mesh is still just as comfortable but arrives with that foot-hugging comfort.
Lines travel the full length of the shoe, barely visible against that black coloured mesh material. The upper remains completely tonal with black coloured three-stripes along the sidewall, a matching lace surround and synthetic heel counter at the rear.
Underfoot is a chunky slab of BOOST in a contrasting shade of white. This is fitted with two EVA midsole plugs, one in black and the other in a subtle shade of cream. A sticky gum outsole keeps you glued to all surfaces, featuring in translucent white as a contrast to that white Boost unit.
The adidas NMD R1 Black Carbon is scheduled to release on 14th December via the retailers listed.
