Sneakerheads looking back on 2016 will remember one silhouette: the adidas NMD. It’s dominated the footwear scene with countless colourways launched and several variations. The popularity is only set to continue as more releases have now been announced including the re-engineered XR1 model.

Unlike that contemporary new look, this pair stays true to the original construct. It’s crafted with durable mesh that boasts unbelievable comfort that won’t weigh you down. The iconic three stripe branding features to the sidewall, and synthetic overlays make an appearance to the rear.

Technology underfoot is where much of the appeal lies. A contrasting white Ultra Boost sole delivers re-enginersing ‘bounce’. It feels like you’re walking on a cloud. To complete the look, those EVA midsole plugs feature in white.
