Here we take a closer look at the adidas NMD XR1 Black, yet another refined colourway to join this contemporary range. This latest Nomad runner is both lightweight and comfortable, the perfect addition to your summer rotation. Be sure to leave us a comment and let us know your thoughts on this silhouette.

Although it’s not a Primeknit release, this tightly woven mesh does promise the best in durability matched with support. It still features in that sock-like fit which hugs the foot, providing that lock down support.

A leather crafted lace surround is one of the distinguishing features that sets this apart from previous NMD XR1 styles. It add some much needed refinement to this sports inspired silhouette.

Leather also appears to the heel overlay and tongue branding. As always, that chunky slab of Boost promises the best in re-energising comfort underfoot. A light beige coloured EVA midsole plug is fitted at the rear and provides a slight contrast to that dark colourway on the upper.

The adidas NMD XR1 Black is scheduled to release on Thursday 31st August via the retailers listed. Stay tuned for more updates and stockist alerts on the run up to launch.
