N.E.R.D x Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu Chalk White

Last summer, Pharrell Williams of the Virginia Beach-based cult rock and hip hop band, N.E.R.D. (a “backronym” of No-one Ever Really Dies) celebrated the band’s debut album, “In Search Of…” by collaborating with adidas to create the NMD Hu (Human Race) lineup. The good news is: the N.E.R.D x Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu Chalk White is getting restocked.

This sleek shoe has an upper that’s completely covered in a creamy Chalk White Primeknit. The right shoe has an embroidered N.E.R.D logo running down vertically from tongue to toe while the left shoe uses Japanese characters instead. This mismatched theme continues on the rubber outsoles, with the right shoe sporting an Icy Blue colour while the left shoe uses a Mint colour, and the inner lining with the right shoe using a peachy Glow Orange and the left shoe using Icy Blue. The right heel tab is Icy Blue with text spelling out a black “20” in the band’s signature font while the left heel tab is Glow Orange decorated with the band’s iconography. White midsoles, Chalk White TPU eye stay accents on quarter and rope-like laces in Chalk White round out the shoe’s design.
