The Star Wars x adidas NMD R1 V2 Lando Calrissian is the latest instalment in the ongoing collaborative capsule between the three stripe brand and Star Wars. This time around the adidas Originals NMD R1 V2 is the silhouette of choice and it pays homage to the legendary rebellion hero Lando Calrissian. Releasing alongside pairs dedicated to C-3PO, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and even a Storm Trooper, the pair are dressed in a striking light blue and black colorway. They draw inspiration from Lando’s unmistakeable cape that first made an appearance in Star Wars Episode V (The Empire Strikes Back). The character's face appears on the tongues as opposed to a traditional adidas logo, while gold-tone branding is featured throughout including a special edition Star Wars lace dubrae.
