As you’d expect from Italian retailer Slam Jam Socialism, this release is far from ordinary. Reworking the unique Gel Mai, this partnership sees an ultra distinctive runner become even more striking.
Premium leather hits much of the upper but an open construct across the toe reveals a soft, mesh lining underneath. Bold hits of blue offer some contrast to an otherwise monochromatic theme.
A piping system travels around the ankle and connects to an integrated lacing system. Aside from looking unique, this boasts that secure and lockdown fit.
It’s the Gel Lyte midsole underfoot which finishes the look nicely. Designed in a split colour construct, this features a light shade of blue at the front followed by that tonal black at the rear. Finally, the conventional ASICS branding stripes hits the heel in the form of a pink embossed overlay.
