Take a glimpse into the future of footwear as A-COLD-WALL* and Converse resume their productive collaborations with a new trio of Aeon Active CX colourways. The two brands first revealed this one-of-a-kind silhouette in 2021, deviating from the century-old Chuck Taylor All-Star that Converse is known for. After debuting in 2022, more colourways emerged. This A-COLD-WALL* x Converse Aeon Active CX “Dyed Blue Emerald” incorporates age-old dyeing processes into this futuristic sneaker.
Dr. Samuel Ross and his A-COLD-WALL* fashion label reunite with Converse following the recent duo of utilitarian Chuck 70 Low renditions. This time, ACW returns to the futuristic Aeon Active CX silhouette. The “Dyed Blue Emerald” rendition gives each shoe a unique finish due to the hand-applied dyeing treatment to further embrace the concept of individualism. It has a polyester upper construction with leather overlays for added durability and support. Minimalist ACW branding spreads throughout the collar, heel panel, and forefoot Crater foam midsole. Converse branding and the Chevron Star logo adorn the medial collar and tongue for a minimalist design approach. The thick, full-length sustainable Crater foam midsole flaunts an emerald pigment produced by the dyeing process. Additionally, the blue wavy rubber treads wrap up this future-forward sneaker.
