Japanese fashion label NEEDLES joins forces with modern skate brand DC Shoes for an apparel and sneaker collection featuring a hybrid design of the Spectre and Clocker 2. Both models may be unknown to many, but ‘90s skate fans very well recognise these chunky skate silhouettes. The Needles x DC Shoes Spectre “White” banners a chunky design approach in this crossover between American and Japanese cultures.
This chunky hybrid DC skate shoe has a sail white mesh and suede construction, decorated with outspread purple stitching encompassing the entire upper to match the apparel. Signature profile DC logos adorn the tongue and lateral quarter panel, while NEEDLES’ Papillon motif embellishes the lace dubrae, heel, and sockliner. A rubber heel piece brings a next-gen update to the old-school skate shoe, adding stability and strengthening the rear. The thick rubber sole derived from the DC Clocker 2 completes this collaborative sneaker.
