GANNI x New Balance 2002R Grey

New Balance and Danish designer label, GANNI, have come together to update the already popular 2002R silhouette. Introducing the GANNI x New Balance 2002R Grey.

Contrary to the title, this shoe is far from boring and neutral. What first catches the eye is the chromatic ombre sock liner and tongue piping. Another interesting and colourful detail is the double heel pull tab in Island Green and red. The white mesh base of the upper features GANNI text logo print in Rain Cloud grey. The synthetic overlays are a combination of light and dark grey while the white “N” logos on the quarters of the shoe have a grey border and rainbow stitching. The latter continues all over the shoe, giving it a whimsical touch. Eco-conscious sneakerheads will love the fact that this shoe meets the brand’s Green Leaf Standard, meaning that the upper and the sole unit have recycled and bio-based materials. A beige-coloured midsole featuring ABZORB technology and an Island Green outsole with N-ERGY shock absorption complete the shoe’s design.
