The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 2002R "Peace Be The Journey" is a fresh new release set to launch from the American footwear label in collaboration with Salehe Bembury, Los Angeles based footwear designer. Bembury is currently vice president of sneakers and men's footwear at Versace and has been responsible for some of the label's best sneakers, so this upcoming collaborative project is certainly an exciting one!
Based on Antelope Canyon, this New Balance collaboration is decked out in a vibrant orange color palette and crafted from materials such as hairy suede and mesh for a sportswear style look. The finished sneaker showcases multiple shades of orange and of course New Balance's signature N logo on both the lateral and medial sides. The upcoming collaboration will be the first time the 2002R has appeared in years, in the form of this high-heat collab.
Underfoot, the shoe features a highly cushioned sole unit to ensure it's plenty comfortable for daily wear, a quality that New Balance prides itself on as a brand. Based on the great outdoors, this is a pair that we're eager to add to our ever-growing collection.
The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 2002R "Peace Be The Journey" is set to launch at select retailers soon, so make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest news and updates, as this is a pair you don't want to miss!
