The 574 lives up to New Balance’s design ethos. It’s basic and doesn’t stand out. That’s what makes the shoe perfect; it blends with the crowd rather than stray away from it. It’s also the silhouette of the brandless grey shoe emoji, making it prominent in the sneaker scene. New Balance’s simplest sneaker teams up with New York-based clothing brand Stray Rats in this brand-new trio of 574s. The previous Stray Rats x New Balance partnership featuring the 574 was back in 2021 with two colourways. This time, Stray Rats founder Julian Consuegra makes it three.

This colourway has an olive green nylon base with darker green suede overlays. Vibrant pink accents adorn the N on the sides and the heel panel. Burgundy tones comprise the laces and co-branded sockliners. More co-branded labels appear on the tongue. The dark rubber outsole completes this third colourway.
