New Balance 860v2 Earth

After headlining an Aimé Leon Dore collaboration, this retro running shoe returns for a new “Earth & Mars” pack featuring neutral colours and greyscale makeovers. The New Balance 860v2 “Earth” boasts complementing black and grey tones with yellowish accents to achieve a terra-inspired look.

First released in 2011, the New Balance 860v2 is an all-around running shoe constructed in mesh and synthetic leather. Its ACTEVA Lite and ABZORB SBS midsole setup influenced New Balance to integrate the same tooling into the remastered NB 2002R and NB 1906R. Following its return in 2019, the New Balance 860v2 gained more attention in the previous year after releasing in a slew of colourways. This “Earth rendition” has a grey mesh base with glossy silver synthetic overlays. Black mesh fabrics make up the collar and midfoot overlay for a nice contrast. Yellow accents adorn the N outline, quarter panel, and New Balance branding. Silver tones cover the visible ABZORB SBS crash pad in the heel. The midsole flaunts a cream-white colour for a vintage finish.
