Slow Steady Club x New Balance 990v5 Brown

Seoul-based label Slow Steady Club joins forces with New Balance for a two-pack collaboration featuring the NB 990v5. The partnership expands the ongoing HOTEL990 project between the two brands, which kicked off in 2017. The Slow Steady Club New Balance 990v5 “Brown” displays an earthy colour scheme that’s “almost perfect” for daily wear.

This modern-day running shoe features a grey mesh base covered by muted brown pigskin suede overlays. Signature “N” logos swathe the sides, highlighted by white outlines to complement the lining. The Made in USA flag emblem adorns the tongue, while the NB branding appears embossed on the orange heel counter. Elsewhere, the South Korean brand’s label sits on the sockliners and lateral rear panels in a minimalist fashion. ENCAP cushioning provides all-day cushioning, reinforced with a polyurethane rim along the heel for stability and support.
