To celebrate the model's 20th anniversary, the Boston footwear label gives their iconic NB991 a colour arrangement that nods to its original colorway when it made its grand debut all the way back in 2001. Official images of these New Balance trainers show the upper crafted from a combination of premium nubuck and ultra-breathable mesh fabric, overall giving a luxe finish while offering a lightweight feel. The structure is predominantly coated in different tones of grey, complete with NB branding on the side panels, tongue, insoles, and "2001" embroidered on the heel to commemorate its original release date.

Rounding it all of is a two-toned tan and white midsole beneath the feet concealed with ABZORB cushioning technology to ensure all-day cushioned comfort is present.
