Up-and-coming 20-year-old actress and producer Storm Reid adds sneaker collaborator to her growing portfolio with her debut New Balance project. After recently appearing in several hit television shows like “Euphoria” and “The Last of Us”, Storm Reid takes her talents to design this New Balance colourway inspired by her Atlanta hometown. The Storm Reid x New Balance CT302 “Sea Salt Cyan” celebrates the early 2000s Atlanta atmosphere, incorporating the fashion trends and culture of that era to form this clean and classy makeover.
Debuted in 2022, the New Balance CT302 exudes 80s tennis trainer aesthetics inspired by the NB CT300. Adding modern-day design elements such as the chunky platform sole and enlarged “N” branding give the lifestyle silhouette everyday wearability and a timeless style. This collaboration with Storm Reid is an ode to the young actress’ childhood as an Atlanta native. It has a clean white nylon base with off-white suede overlays encompassing the eyestay and lower heel panel. Sky blue accents adorn the hairy suede “N” branding on the sides and the heel tab. Storm Reid’s signature appears on the tongue label, lace aglets, and co-branded graphic insole. Wrapping up this Y2K-inspired collab are the exposed foam on the tongue and the off-white platform sole.
