HUF x Nike Air Max 1 Pink

Los Angeles-based skateboard brand HUF teams up with Nike to commemorate the 20th year of its Air Max 1 collaboration. Paying homage to the life and legacy of the late founder Keith Hufnagel in skateboard and streetwear, this HUF x Nike Air Max 1 “Pink” presents a vibrant hue atop its predominantly greyscale makeover, a nod to the ‘04 edition.

The grey leather upper and pitch-black cracked leather mudguard set up a stealthy base, allowing the vibrant pink Swooshes to stand out. Storytelling details highlight the metallic silver dog hangtag, honouring Keith Hufnagel’s furry pet named Bones. Co-branded logos decorate the tongue tag and sockliners, whilst traditional Nike Air branding appears embroidered on the heel. The visible Air bubble in the rear facilitates comfort and ample cushioning, propped up by a multicoloured waffle sole. Like the two other styles in the collection, this colourway arrives in a co-branded box inspired by old-school Swoosh packaging.
