Nike Air Max 1 '86 Light Silver

Nike’s retro line for its Tinker Hatfield-designed running shoe, the Air Max 1 ‘86, has a fresh edition in cool grey and silver. Take a closer look at the Nike Air Max 1 '86 “Light Silver”.

This AM1 ‘86’s upper features an assortment of shades, with a “Light Silver” mesh base showing on the toe box, the tongues, and ankle regions. “Light Pumice” suede overlays can be found on the medial and heel sections, lending a soft, refined finish. The wraparound mudguard is in a darker grey, delineating the wavy outlines of the forefoot, and is harmonised with the corresponding Swooshes that stretch into the medials. The tongues, clad in a metallic sheen, proudly display vintage Nike-branded tags, whilst classic typography graces the rear. A hint of unexpected colour comes from the “Barely Volt” insoles. A white midsole showing off exposed Air units at the heel and a dark grey rubber outsole finish off the design of this sneaker.
