Unveiled during the Air Max Day 2023 event, the silhouette pays homage to the first AM1 version, which had a short-lived run in 1986. This rendition has a predominantly white base featuring a lightweight mesh underlay with synthetic leather overlays encompassing the mudguard and midfoot. This seemingly regular upper construction has a waterproof coating ideal for ridding dust, debris, and water when playing golf. Black Swooshes on the sides, plastic eyelet, and the Nike Air label on the tongue and heel juxtapose the pristine white base. The white PU foam midsole houses the visible four-window Air unit in the heel for plush cushioning and bouncy comfort underfoot. A classic gum rubber sole with modified waffle nubs delivers a reliable grip on the links.
