This unique colourway gives a vintage look that takes us straight back to the old school. There’s something about that off-white palette which sets it apart from other recent styles, delivering head-turning curb appeal and that classic Air Max aesthetic.
That said, it’s not hard to forget that this is a contemporary re-make of the icon. Slip your feet into these and they’re unlike any Air Max you’ve ever experienced. Soft and flexible Flyknit contours to the shape of your foot, giving a second skin like fit.
A suede welded overlay covers the lower half for added protection, and looks especially good in a contrasting shade of navy. Other interesting features include the addition of vibrant red across the sidewall lace locks and heel branding at the rear.
As always, a visible Air Unit sits in the midsole underfoot while a Swoosh dominates in that same synthetic lining as the mudguards.
