The Nike Air Max 2090 Blue Active Fuchsia is the latest colourway of Nike’s brand-new lifestyle model that launched earlier this year as part of the annual Air Max Day celebrations. The AM2090 draws inspiration from successful models of the past and rejuvenates them to showcase modern technology and aesthetics.

The main source of inspiration is the Air Max 90, a silhouette that launched in 1990 and is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary. By borrowing iconic design elements from the retro runner the AM2090 already seems familiar, and they’re certain to make a great addition to any rotation. The clean colourway consists of navy, purple and yellow that blend together seamlessly across the technical ripstop uppers. Nike’s cropped Swoosh logo is present on both the lateral and medial sides, while Air Max branding resides at the tongue.

Underfoot, a whited-out midsole conceals a tried and tested visible Air unit under the heel for optimum cushioning, which is concealed by the same cassette surround seen on the Air Max 90.
