Nike Air Max 95 Yardrunners FAMU

The special-edition Nike Air Max 95 Yardrunners “FAMU” is an ode to the Florida A&M University Rattlers. The AM95’s 30th anniversary has been one of Nike’s most exciting milestones in recent memory, and the celebration just got better thanks to the four-pack AM95 Yardrunners 6.0 collection that pays homage to the Beaverton sportswear giant’s partner HBCUs.

Honouring the Rattlers, this iteration flaunts an exotic green snakeskin print atop the upper’s orange, grey, and white layers. A FAMU logo adorns the tongue and sockliner, while the “1887” detail nods to the public, historically Black university’s inception. The reflective nylon eyelets and two-tone rope laces let your kicks stand out from day to night. The traditional Swoosh and Nike branding stay true to Sergio Lozano’s iconic design from 1995. A Big Bubble system in the heel and the visible Max Air in the forefoot offer responsive cushioning underfoot, reinforced by a rattlesnake-inspired TPU shank plate and grippy rubber outsole.
