Nike Air Max 95 Yardrunners Norfolk State

Part of the Yardrunners 6.0 collection, the Nike Air Max 95 “Yardrunners Norfolk State” celebrates the Virginia-based public academic institution and its school colours. This limited-edition colourway is one of the exclusive styles in the brand’s latest capsule honouring partner HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), a program that has become an annual tradition since the successful 2020 drop. The launch coincides with the AM95’s 30th anniversary in 2025, joining other high-heat drops in the lineup.

Nodding to the Norfolk State Spartans, these 110s feature a grey and white leather and suede upper with vibrant yellow and green accents on the topmost panels. The classic Swoosh appears on the lateral sidewall, complementing the traditional Nike branding on the back. An embroidered “NSU” decorates the tongue atop the “1935” callout, which pays homage to the university’s founding year. For additional storytelling, this AM95 displays the “BEHOLD THE GREEN AND GOLD” message on the medial section and the NSU Spartans crest on the insole. The polyurethane midsole encases the Big Bubble technology in the heel and a slimmer Max Air unit in the forefoot for all-day comfort. Meanwhile, the durable waffle rubber sole delivers superb traction inside and outside campus grounds.
