Nike Air Max 97 Black University Gold Green

Designed by Christian Tresser, the Air Max 97 was debuted in 1997 with its wavy upper that was inspired by the ripples created as rain dropped on puddles. Easily one of the most iconic Nike silhouettes ever, the shoe was well known for its full-length Total Air unit. To this day the AM97 remains one of our favourite silhouettes, especially when it arrives in a stealthy colourway like this one: the Nike Air Max 97 "Black/University Gold/Green"

This autumn-ready version of the Air Max 97 arrives in dark, wintery hues and practical materials, making it the perfect pair to see you through the colder, wetter seasons ahead. A black, ripstop upper and matching nylon tongue anchors the colourway, while hints of white and gold add pops of colour to the wavy overlays, breaking up the dark base. Dark green mudguards then wrap their way around the lower half of the shoe, matching a grey-green-tinged Air Unit and outsole that sit alongide a bright white midsole.
