Nike's iconic bullet-train inspired silhouette is returning in eye-catching hues that also features materials far from the norm, the Nike Air Max 97 Evolution of Icons is Nike's latest take on of Christian Tresser's architecture and we have no doubts that these will effortlessly slot into your weekly sneaker line-up. If you're an avid shoe collector, you need to keep your eye out for this pair as it is arriving as the latest addition to the Swoosh brand's upcoming series that commemorates Air Max colorways from the archive.
Detailed images show these AM97s to arrive in a full corduroy makeover coated in stunning hues of grey throughout, notably the wavy-pattern across the lateral and medial sides, but also the tongue and heels alike.
Adding Nike's branding touch is the mini Swoosh logo accentuated with a volt green hue on the quarter panels, followed by an additional one embroidered up front. While pull-tabs adorn the tongue and heel for added convenience, the rainbow-coloured Air midsole below sits at full-length to provide optimum cushioning and comfort for every stride that we are all familiar with from all Air Max models. Completing the design is a set of insoles that depict variants of Nike Air logos.
The Nike Air Max 97 EOI is set to launch next week on the 4th of March via Nike and many other select retailers listed, so keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier and make sure to hit the bell icon above to stay in the know, that way you won’t take an L!
