Nike Air Max 97 Koi

The Christian Tresser-designed Nike Air Max 97 has a charming and golden-toned new drop. Take a closer look at the Nike Air Max 97 Koi.

The first layer of the wavy upper design of this Air Max 97 is suede in a deep golden colour, matching the mesh tongue and the heel pull tab. A striking Koi fish scale pattern peeps out of the cutout windows on the mid-panels and the tongue labels. The fish theme continues on the black insoles showing off actual Koi prints in white and orange. The next layer on the waves of the shoe is tan-hued followed by white piping and white mesh underlays.

Embroidered white mini Swooshes stand out against the Koi print background mid-foot and on the tongues. A moulded white midsole with a Swoosh-embossed heel shows off a full-length Air unit with a transparent casing. An icy white outsole with golden line accents and a middle window oval with a Swoosh-embellished Koi fish scale print completes the design of this shoe.
