This is one of only a handful of Air Max 97s to feature a synthetic mesh upper. It still boasts the appearance of leather but an embossed surface makes for a more hard-wearing look and feel. These can be worn during those summer showers. Simply wipe the surface clean and these’ll look as good as new.
An otherwise stealthy colourway is balanced out by the vibrant hits of blue which circle the entire shoe. That same vibrancy features to the sidewall mini-Swoosh. Elsewhere and everything remains laid-back from that blacked-out Air Unit to the branding along the inner solebed.
