The Nike Air Max 97 has one of the most unique shapes of any Air Max model. It combines the sharp look of Japanese bullet trains with the wavy ripples of water. Unveiled as a running shoe in 1997, the Air Max 97 was the first to utilise a full-length visible Air setup. The shoe became a lifestyle classic. Its 25th anniversary in 2022 saw the return of the OG Nike Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” and Nike Air Max 97 “Atlantic Blue”. This new colourway joins the Nike Dunk Low Next Nature “Floral Tapestry” to feature recycled content. The shoe has a black canvas base with black leather overlays. Floral aesthetics composed of pink and green adorn the middle layer of the upper. This print also appears on the tongue pull tab and heel panel. Volt Next Nature sockliners signify the use of recycled materials. The sail white PU midsole houses the visible Air bubble. Finishing the design is the black rubber outsole.
